Agreed. There's a lot of depth to the characters, and I'm not referring to any specific artistic detail.
I'm really fascinated by the older gentleman (on the right) holding the mug. He looks like he's lived an interesting life thus far. His body language alone speaks volumes.

Ooo! This one's extra good... I can relate to these characters... not to say that I can't relate to a six breasted, naked alien.
